P3P server(Web Server side) function
P3P Authoring Tool release 1999.6 Release Memo
1. System Requirements
To execute P3P Authoring Tool, the Internet environment via exclusive lines or dial-up lines of Internet provider and following system resources are required:
[Operational Environment]
P3P Authoring Tool operates in the following environment:
*Microsoft Windows 95/98
*Microsoft Windows NT4.0(Service Pack3)
*5MB or more memory capacity(except for OS)
*3.0MB or more disk capacity(except for OS)
Proposal(Perl script) created using P3P Authoring Tool operates in the following environment.
*Environment where CGI(Perl script) operates with web server (Internet Information Server,
Netscape Enterprise Server) of Microsoft WindowsNT.
*Environment where CGI(Perl script) operates with web server (Jigsaw 2.0, etc.) of Linux.
However, some versions of Jigsaw cannot recognize P3P header(P3P1.0).
*The disk capacity of the Web server is about 1MB (depends on the proposal to be created).
However, the capacity varies depending on the system of web site, please reserve ample capacity.

3. How to uninstall
Use the Add/Remove Program control panel to remove P3P Authoring Tool.

Configuration Tool operates in the following environment.
*Netscape Communicator 4 of Microsoft Windows 95/98.
*Internet Explorer 4 of Microsoft Windows 95/98.
*JRE1.1
*Java Plug-in 1.1 (SWING)
Redirector operates in the following environment.
*Microsoft Windows 95/98
*Microsoft Windows NT4.0(Service Pack3)
P3P User Agent operates in the following environment.
*Microsoft Windows 95/98
*Microsoft Windows NT4.0(Service Pack3)
*TurboLinux 3.0
Preference Bureau operates in the following environment
*Microsoft Windows 95/98
*Microsoft Windows NT4.0(Service Pack3)
*TurboLinux 3.0
Memory and Disk capacity
*5MB or more memory capacity
--Except for OS. P3P User Agent, Preference Bureau, Redirector and their configuration tool and
monitoring tool are included.
*6MB or more disk capacity
--Except for OS and private data. P3P User Agent, Preference Bureau, Redirector and their
configuration tool and monitoring tool are included.
*Disk capacity for private data per person requires 1MB or more.
The following Web Browsers are accessible to the P3P related Web sites.
