Creation of CGI by P3p Authoring tool.
The left side window of the P3P Authoring tool is called "Tree view" that displays proposals which become P3P cgi scripts in the Web site, disclosure, and demanded personal data items. Also, it displays the html tree structure that is returned to Web browser according to the type of personal data obtained by running P3P cgi scripts.
The right side window of the P3P Authoring tool is called "Document view", and you can define details of P3P cgi script or html that is selected in the Tree view.
After you put the created P3P cgi script on the web server, Web Browser can transmit http get with P3P header to the site, and the site can return proposal. Then, Web Browser returns TXD or SRY, and defined web page is returned in response to it.
Also, NMDA created the perl script which subdivides the P3P's description included in the http header and the perl script for UTF-8 character code conversion to make P3P cgi easier. However, it is not necessary to replace the Web server with that conforming to P3P. These P3P CGI scripts can be operated using the cgi of Web Server such as Windows NT Internet Information Server, Netscape Enterprise server, Unix Apache Web server and Jigsaw.
